THEATRE | BrightSide Theatre to Perform DRACULA at Meiley-Swallow Hall of North Central College

DRACULA • October 18–November 3

NAPERVILLE–BrightSide Theatre, in honor of its season-opening production of the play DRACULA, co-sponsored a blood drive with the Naperville Women’s Club and the Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, on Saturday, October 5 from 9 am to 1 pm. The legendary vampire of Transylvania made a rare daylight appearance in the form of the actor Danny Parrott, who will play the blood-thirsty Count in BrightSide’s production, to greet donors and thank them for their donations. (He did not actually extract their donations). Blood donations were taken from over 60 donors at the Naperville Women's Club Meeting Room, 14 S Washington Street Naperville, on Saturday, October 5 from 9am-1:30pm. 

Veteran director and actor Jay Fontanetta will direct BrightSide’s production of Steven Dietz’s adaptation of this eternally popular thriller. DRACULA will take audiences to the eerie landscapes of Transylvania and the shadowy corners of Victorian England on a spine-tingling journey filled with suspense, passion, and terror as Dracula is pursued by a group of courageous souls determined to stop him. DRACULA will be performed in the Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, North Central College, 31 S. Ellsworth, Naperville. Tickets are $37.00 for adults and $32.00 for students and seniors.
