NAPERVILLE–Have you been sleeping on Sparrow Coffee? Well, this is your wake-up call. Hands down our favorite coffee in Naperville, there’s no better spot! Perfectly curated drinks paired with amazing food, Sparrow has everything you’d want from a coffee shop, including a cool city vibe that’s perfect for meetups with friends, or as a solo workspace.

If mornings aren’t your thing, then you’re in luck. Literally. Thanks to Nate Luckman, the Coffee Program Manager, there is a new way to love Sparrow, called Sparrow Nights! Every Friday starting at 6:30pm they dim the lights, switch up the music and bring out a special menu full of curated drinks and desserts to obsess over.

Nate, who has worked at sparrow since May of 2019, started working there as a summer job but quickly discovered he had a true passion for it. He loves how interesting and complex coffee can be when the process from farm to cup is looked after with care, every step of the way.

We’re particularly smitten with the pink Barbtini (in honor of this summer’s Barbie movie), the Shake Sumn (a brilliantly refreshing mixture of cold brew, yuzu tonic, lime zest and luxado cherries) and the classic affogato made with Brazilian espresso over vanilla ice cream.

Nate says he is working on a new drink that has yet to be named. May we suggest a drink named after us, the Real Housewives of Naperville?!

But what we’d most like to highlight about the experience is Nate’s passion for this new venture coupled with his natural ability to craft unique and exciting flavors we can’t get enough of.
