REN JORD IN NORWEGIAN MEANS "PURE EARTH"
Earlier this week, Ren-Jord.com, an e-commerce site for organic hair care products, launched with product specials, including Holiday Bundles, testimonials from area residents, how-to videos and more.
Founded by Jessi Aktocaitis, a St. Charles mom of 3, Ren Jord offers organic hair care products that are found in nature and made without additives. According to the About Us section of the site, Ren Jord products have 0 side effects and help individuals achieve longer, stronger, healthier hair, as well as a healthier scalp. It is noted that these products are also used by parents for their children's hair care.
The company's new site www.ren-jord.com opens up the opportunity for expansion. Ren Jord products have been growing in popularity for the past several months locally, with many reviews featured for each product on the site, as well as how-to videos.
When asked about the inspiration behind starting her own organic hair care company, Jessi's passion for helping others shined through.
"Our products are hand crafted in small batches in Illinois. I love when I am asked what inspired me to create Ren Jord in hopes that I may inspire those who are in need of products than can help them. I have been a hair stylist for 20 years and when my clients were experiencing hair loss, dry hair, and frizz, the conventional hair products that I would recommend just were not working. I started researching, realizing that the chemicals added to some of these products were actually making our hair worse," she shared.
Using only ingredients from nature–nothing fake, artificial, or toxic– Ren Jord products are 100% organic and cold pressed for potency and optimal results. Ren Jord in Norwegian means “pure earth”.
