MEET HOME DESIGNERS SCOTT & ELIZABETH MATHIESON
NAPERVILLE–Scott and Elizabeth are extremely busy with five young kids Will, Ellie, Evan, Adeline and Chloe. They have remained 110% committed to their family and community while building an amazing business, M House Development in Naperville.
Scott and Elizabeth own the company; Scott is the head of construction, operations and sales and Elizabeth is the head of design and general counsel. With their crazy work schedules providing families a beautiful space to live their lives, they still manage to be at every game, dance recital, and school event for their own children, while also supporting local philanthropies.
M House was born out of love and a passion for good design. Scott has been building homes since he was in college; Elizabeth quit her job as a litigation attorney in 2017 to join Scott and rebrand his business as M House Development, a custom home building company, where Elizabeth heads up the design. They design homes for clients like they would want to live in: clean lines, open floor plans, transitional finishes, interesting details and LOTS of windows! Together they have built three homes for their family, and are going to move into the third this spring with the help of Kim Lawler and Katie Minott of The Kim & Katie Group in Naperville who use their blend of backgrounds to offer clients current analytical data and analysis, innovative marketing strategies and home staging support ranking them in the top 1% of Naperville real estate agents.
