According to several local news reports, there has been a multi-vehicle crash in Plainfield on Wednesday. One of them is a state trooper's vehicle. The accident is on II-55 near Route 30 in southwest suburban Plainfield, according to the state police. The crash happened in the northbound lanes, they added. Additional, they stated that there were injuries from the crash but did not have any additional information.Traffic has been at a stand-still during evening traffic. Residents are advised to avoid the area.
