About the Show:

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a humorous retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph, the youngest son of Jacob. The story follows Joseph, who is the favorite son, but his brothers become jealous and sell him into slavery. Joseph is taken to Egypt, where he becomes the slave of Potiphar, an Egyptian millionaire. Joseph earns Potiphar's trust and manages his household, but is later thrown into jail, where he interprets dreams. While in jail, Joseph discovers he can interpret dreams and eventually becomes the Pharaoh's right-hand man, helping to end Egypt's famine.
