Making Strides of West Suburban Breast Cancer Walk

SUPPORTING SURVIVORS, THRIVERS, AND CAREGIVERS

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Real Housewives of Naperville wanted to do something to help bring awareness to the American Cancer Society -Making Strides of West Suburban.

For over two decades Making Strides of West Suburban has “helped the American Cancer Society fund life-saving breast cancer research, crucial patient services, education and prevention initiatives that have helped millions of people. “

On Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Making Strides will be holding their annual Breast Cancer Walk. The event opens at 7:30 am. Expect fun activities for all ages, great music and plenty of refreshments. The walk itself begins at 9:00 am and is about 3 miles long. You are encouraged to walk at your own pace and have fun while supporting a wonderful cause.

If walking isn’t your thing, there are other ways to support the cause. Such as, sponsoring your friends and family who are participating in the walk, volunteering at the event with setting up/cleaning up, supplying refreshments or simply by cheering on participants. Another way to show your support is to purchase an exclusive Real Housewives of Naperville sweatshirt or t-shirt. All proceeds will be donated to Making Strides of West Suburban.
