Limited Edition Items Will Be Available for Purchase at the Event this Season
CHICAGOLAND–The Christkindlmarket Team is excited to announce its highly anticipated 2024 souvenir collection, featuring two annual mugs, a ceramic beer stein, a hand-crafted ornament, and specially curated gift boxes. These limited-edition items will be available for purchase at the info and merch booths at the Christkindlmarket Chicago and Christkindlmarket Aurora beginning November 22, while supplies last.
Highlights of the 2024 Collection:
Boot Mug: Back by popular demand, the iconic boot-shaped mug returns for the first time since 2019. It features a sleek black exterior with a warm red interior, adorned with cozy market scenes and holiday-themed designs. This collector's favorite is priced at $9 (empty) and can also be purchased at vendor booths filled with hot beverages.
Nutcracker Mug: Shaped like the beloved holiday character, this non-alcoholic beverage mug is the ideal companion to the boot mug, sporting a matching red-and-black color scheme. It also ties in with this year’s nutcracker-themed scavenger hunt at the Christkindlmarket Aurora. A naming contest with mug giveaways will be announced in the coming weeks on the Christkindlmarket Instagram. Available for $9 (empty) or filled with non-alcoholic hot beverages from various vendors.
Beer Stein: Returning for its second year with a new design, the ceramic beer stein showcases a Nutcracker marching band in a bustling market scene, blending tradition with festive charm. The individual item price is $20 at both locations. For any 21+, the beer stein can be purchased and filled with imported German beer provided by our lovely sponsors Bitburger, Köstritzer, and Weihenstephaner.
Glass-Blown Ornament: The fourth annual Christkindlmarket ornament is hand-painted and glass-blown in Europe. Shaped like the boot mug, it features intricate holiday details, including mulled wine spices on top. Priced at $43.99 plus tax.
Gift Boxes: Ideal for corporate gifts or for those unable to visit in person, the 2024 Christkindlmarket Gift Boxes include two boot mugs and a selection of vendor goodies and authentic German treats. This is the only Christkindlmarket souvenir collection item that can be purchased on-site but also online, starting at $109.
