A SPECIAL HONOR TO TAKE PLACE
At the Annual Gala on March 7, NDSS will honor Chris Burke and 18 other actors with Down syndrome who have helped expand representation in film and television!
Congratulations to All on this Special Achievement!
Among this formidable group of actors is Kayla Kosmalski who appears in the new feature film I Win; Christopher Lopes whose acting credits include Orange is the New Black and Chicago Med; Sean McElwee who is best known as a cast member of Born This Way; Lily D. Moore from the Netflix series Never Have I Ever and the Hallmark Movie Color My World with Love; Kassie Mundhenk who was in the HBO Max Mini-series Mare of Eastown; and Benjamin Pelham who appeared in the film Embattled.
Join us in congratulating and thanking them for the incredible work they’ve done to help shift public perceptions of Down syndrome!
