IN LOVE ♥ A RELATIONSHIP BUILT ON LAUGHTER & UNDERSTANDING, SUPPORT & LOVE
WHEATON–Wheaton is home for Tara and David. It’s where they have gone to school, worked, and raised their four, now adult children. They met in the summer of 1989 at O’Hare airport while embarking on a mission trip as students at Wheaton College. They returned to realize they lived in the same apartment complex and found each other again in Developmental Psychology class.
David proposed at Buckingham Fountain, the couple married at Glen Ellyn Bible Church, and honeymooned in Jamaica. They are deeply rooted in serving their community leading Bible studies, volunteering in Wheaton Park District athletics and local public schools, giving to Outreach Community Ministries, and through their professions as a Marriage and Family Therapist for the Center for Family and Regional Health at Wheaton College (David) and a birth doula and childbirth educator for With U Parenting (Tara).
With very confidential, intimate, stressful careers, the couple ensures to schedule intentional time together with the understanding that patients may need them at any given hour.
They have built their relationship with a solid foundation of laughter and understanding, support and love, and recharge by spending time in nature with their kayaks and traveling to experience new cultures and expand their perspectives. -Kristen Kucharski, Photos Submitted
