AS THE CONTENT CREATOR OF GLEN ELLYN MOM'S VILLAGE, THIS LOCAL MOM HAS A PASSION FOR HELPING THE COMMUNITY
GLEN ELLYN–With two kids in college, Patty’s “Mom” role has translated into a consultant who offers advice while listening and watching Katie (21) and Jack (19) live their life as independent college students.
As a 21 year resident of Glen Ellyn, Patty’s spare time is filled with pickleball, golf, travel, and meeting up with friends and family, but sticking to Dolly Parton’s words, find out who you are and do it on purpose, Patty took over all aspects of running Glen Ellyn Mom’s Village when it’s founder Alicia Donovan moved back home to Minnesota in May of 2020 to continue her Mastermom Talk Series.
Glen Ellyn Mom’s Village is a storytelling platform with created content that informs, educates, inspires and connects businesses to the greater community. It is a passion project that has organically become a business of its own. In January of 2023, it became an LLC establishing partnerships with Stroll GE Magazine and Innovation DuPage to highlight individuals and businesses.
As a Content Creator, Patty is also able to work with corporations and organizations to create UGC content and offer sponsored posts.
“One of my favorite things that I do is connect, collaborate and cheer for people and businesses in our Chicagoland area,” she says. “I love meeting people, creating community and supporting small businesses. I love learning about their story and sharing it with our followers.”
Glen Ellyn Moms Village is a very engaged, loyal group that thrives on supporting each other.
