LOCAL MOM ENCOURAGES YOUNG DAUGHTERS TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
ELBURN–Finding key ingredients to an active lifestyle during the pandemic was challenging as a stay-at-home mom to two girls ages three and one; however, when Kelsay started feeling alone and confined, she found comfort in her faith and used it as a launching point to develop relationships that promoted her mental and physical health.

She now attends H4 Training in Geneva two days a week and focuses on their Nexus style which incorporates strengthening her core postpartum, losing weight, gaining lean muscle, and increasing flexibility. Kelsay wants to show her daughters through her actions how to live a healthy lifestyle by encouraging them to create a positive body image and healthy eating habits at a young age.
Mindful living also includes church at Christ Community Church in St. Charles and giving back to Casa Kane County and Big Hearts of Fox Valley. Kelsay also blogs on Instagram as @SuburbanMomsChicago sharing real mom life moments.
