SPA OWNER SHARES ABOUT HER BEAUTIFUL DAY SPA THAT'S LOVED LOCALLY

DOWNERES GROVE–Angela’s family moved to England when she was 7. She attended Leigh College and received the City and Guilds of London Institute Diploma; and then enhanced her education in Electrolysis and Esthetics.

When Anglea was 20 years old, she moved back to Illinois and continued working in the skincare industry before opening up her own business, Simply Beautiful Day Spa, maintaining her focus on using healthy, non-invasive treatments and products to create healthy glowing skin.

Over the course of 29 years of being in business, Angela wanted to incorporate wellness into the spa to be able to help clients with their mind and body; alleviating stress, and rejuvenating their spirit from the inside out. Simply Beautiful emerged into a Day Spa and Salt Therapy Room providing a wide variety of services including high-performance facial and body treatments, massage therapy, electrolysis, natural nail services, and salt therapy.

From the very beginning, Angela knew she wanted to create a safe working environment for her staff. She offers flexible hours that can be changed and accommodated to life’s many changes. The majority of Simply Beautiful’s staff has been with us for over 15 years, and some since opening day.

Angela volunteered for many years for the Look Good, Feel Better program at Edwards Hospital, donated a percentage of sales to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, contributed to Noah’s Hope, hosts annual Client Appreciation Events sponsoring different charities, and continues to make people feel Simply Beautiful. –Kristen Kucharski, Photos by Ruta Drulia Photography
