LOCAL SALON OWNER FINDING BALANCE IN GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
AURORA–Born and raised on the East side of Aurora, Diane loves owning and operating Renew Salon + Spa in her hometown where she can provide a laidback luxurious space dedicated to beauty, wellness and creativity, specializing in beautiful hair.
Living by the words, 'Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can' is what makes her days better.
“We all get out of balance,” Diane says. “It’s not a status to me, it’s a feeling. And being grateful is how I achieve it.”
She does this by participating in charitable 5K races, saving stray animals, running fundraisers for those in need; additionally bringing her driven, cheerful, and adventurous spirit to each moment, which allows her to be a “daymaker” for anyone in her sphere.
Granting time in her daily planner for personal quiet time each morning, an afternoon catnap, and regularly scheduled massages are contributing factors to the solace in her life.
Diane has a passion to live a long life.
“My goal is to live till I’m 100 - Having daily awareness helps with this.”
