BOO! AT THE ZOO | Brookfield Zoo Chicago Invites Families Out for a Spooky Fun Time

Boo! at the Zoo is Help Saturdays and Sundays, October 5-20, 204 from 10am-5pm

BROOKFIELD–Gather your ghoulfriends, little ghosts, and goblins for this fun-filled family event. Check out the creatures, creepy crawlers, and more in your costumes at the Halloween-themed event that's perfect for family photo ops. All ages are in for a fang-tastic time, and the kids will leave with a sweet treat. 

While there will not be a costume contest, showing off your creative costumes is encouraged! No guests over 13 are allowed in the Zoo in full-body costumes with their head covered. This is to avoid confusion and for the safety of all guests. All activities are weather-dependent, and schedule/programming is subject to change.

Frightening Photo Ops

• Boo! at the Zoo photo spots: giant inflatables, photo frames, peekboards, and more!  

• Howl-O-Scenes photo spot at the Nature Stage 

Fall Activities

• Pumpkin decorating at the Beer Garden* 

• Sweet Treat Stations at retail locations throughout the Zoo 

• Children’s costume parade starting at Discovery Center plaza (daily at 12:30 p.m.) 

Exciting Entertainment

• Rides on the Creepy Carousel* 

• Virtual reality 4D theater show Jinxed: a spooky carnival coaster simulator with dips, drops & thrills* 

• Magician at Nature Plaza (shows daily between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) 

• Inflate-a-Boo: inflatable zone for kids ages 3-10*
