LOCAL BOY'S PRE-SCHOOL SEED BLOSSOMS INTO SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
This adorable story was submitted by an area resident and we fell in love with it – we think you will, too. ♥
"At the beginning of summer, Benny brought home a little cup of soil with a seed and popsicle stick from preschool. The note said “plant me in the sun, water me and watch! I just may be taller than Ben!”
First, we lost the cup for a week or so. Then, once it was found Henry accidentally knocked the cup over and we searched for the seed for 15 mins. Finally, we planted it, expecting it to never even sprout from the ground!
For 6 weeks we have fought over who’s turn it is to water it, discussed how on earth it happened so fast, re-staked it 3 times … still laugh about it every day! The little things…and the power of love!"
