ENTERTAIN WITH A BEAUTIFUL CHARCUTERIE BOARD MADE LOCALLY
Ah, the charcuterie board–always plentiful, never boring. Filled with delightful selections, a charcuterie board features meats surrounded by foods that complement those meats, most commonly fruits, nuts, crackers, and dips. From the French chair for meat and cuit for cooked, charcuterie is simply the art of preserving meat. There are many talented artists who create these beautiful boards, boxes & more locally and we’d love for you to meet them. Here’s our list:
1. Bellyful Boards
Started in 2020 by a local mom who works full-time as a testing analyst, Bellyful Boards has gained quick popularity in the area, known for unique and beautiful Charcuterie boards. From decorative roses for meat lovers (pictured left) and holiday trays for every season, to number shaped creations perfect for birthdays and more– the talent is endless.
2. Boujee Boards

3. Olive+Emmental
Owned by two friends who met in corporate America while going through the same seasons of life, Olive+Emmental creates beautiful charcuterie boards boxes, hostsunique workshops, while also catering parties and events. Pictured above is their Valentines’ Day Box that serves 2 and available for ordering online.
4. Wine + Cheese Co. In Plainfield
This fine wine & artisan cheese shop is also a wine bar/cafe located in the heart of Plainfield's historic downtown (pictured below) . Residents love visiting for a glass of wine accompanied by a delectible charcuterie board complete with all of their favorites – meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, confectionery and more. 5. The Tasteful Table
Bacon rosebuds and all! Chef Joe is an entertaining expert and has created an incredible collection of charcuterie and cheese boards, featuring perfectly paired cured meats, artisan cheeses, antipasti, olives, dips, spreads, and more. No work, worries, or prep necessary....you don’t even have to leave the house since our charcuterie boards can bedelivered to you, how delightful is that?
6. Board+Brush Oswego
This local creative studio is a place for creating fun and unique wood decor projects from scratch while enjoying a fun instructor led atmosphere. Watch for fun workshops centered around charcuterie trends. Feb 3 is the next available.
