CONGRATULATIONS! | Announcing the Winners of the Scarecrow Contest In St. Charles

MORE THAN 5,500 VOTES TALLIED IN 2019 SCARECROW FEST CONTEST

After a weekend that drove tens of thousands of visitors to St. Charles to see over 100 scarecrows, more than 5,500 votes were tallied for the 2019 Scarecrow Fest contest. The weekend-long event featured not only the Scarecrow Contest in Lincoln Park, but also the Autumn on the Fox Arts & Craft Show and the Windy City Amusements Carnival.

The winners in each category of the Scarecrow Contest are as follows:

Individual Category:

1st Place: Klaus Gerischer with their entry “Time Out Scarecrow”

2nd Place: Lily Contreras with their entry “Guacamole, Please!”

3rd Place: Arami Family with their entry “Barking Up the Wrong Tree!”

Family Category

1st Place: The Fraser & Banks Family with their entry “Ms. Pumpk-Man”

2nd Place: Elizabeth Rivera with their entry “Children’s Hospital Angels”

3rd Place: Dan’s Friends & Family with their entry “In Memory of Uncle Dan”

Mega Category

1st Place: Anderson Family with their entry “Monster’s Inc.”

2nd Place: Fran Volz Studio LLC with their entry “Rocking Horse”

3rd Place: Kevin & Lindsey Hermann with their entry “Snoopy Takes Flight”

Mechanical

1st Place: Ted and Christine Eynik with their entry “Jungle Rhapsody”

2nd Place: Larson Family with their entry “Christmas Graveyard”
