PRAYERS & DONATIONS ARE NEEDED FOR FAMILY OF ST. CHARLES ATHLETE

On Friday evening, October 4, Aidan Carlson, a St. Charles North football player, was critically injured during the Sophomore game. He needed to be airlifted to Lutheran General where he received immediate Neurosurgery. Aidan is currently in ICU. His uncle has set up a GoFundMe page to help his family during this very difficult time. Below is what he shared about Aidan:

"Hi My name is Sean Peters , Aidan Carlson’s uncle . Aidan plays on the St. Charles North sophomore team he loves his school and team, he was so proud to wear no. 19 for the North Stars . Friday October 4th Aidan suffered a severe brain injury during a St. Charles North vs East football game . He was airlifted to Lutheran General where he received emergency Neurosurgery. As of now Aidan is in amazing hands with a amazing team of physicians and nurses at Lutheran General. He is currently undergoing many different procedures and we his family are by his side praying he can continue to get stronger and wake up and start his path to a recovery. Many of you in the community have sent your prayers to him and we can’t begin to tell you how appreciative we are of your help. Aidan is such an amazing young man, he is truly a kind, loving kid who loves spending time with his little brother Ashton and his mom and dad. At this time I’m hoping we can begin to start raising funds for him and his family. I’m hoping we can help them so they can focus on Aidan’s recovery , and not the many other concerns that are bound to come eventually. Anything at all helps even if it’s just keeping him in your thoughts , thank you all for your support it means so much to us."
