EXPERIENCE THE TASTES OF FALL....TOGETHER
WESTERN SUBURBS – Who is ready for some good o’ fashioned fall fun? The season is filled with countless activities happening throughout the western suburbs– and many of them are food-inspired. Here are a few of our favorites.
Fall means fun on Friday October 11th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Naperville. A family-style dinner including stuffed mushrooms, classic bruschetta, chopped salad, baked rigatoni, meatballs, ravioli with pesto alfredo and chicken picatta followed by tiramisu and apple crostada will be served during game show and trivia night where everyone plays at the same time! How fun (and filling) is that!?
It may be Fall but you can still enjoy the Sounds of Summer on October 18th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cantigny Golf Course Club House in Wheaton. Sing and dance to the tunes of Trés Mustache while enjoying food and drink features on the Cantigny Golf patio.
Don’t miss an unforgettable evening full of exquisite cuisine paired perfectly with the finest Duckhorn Vineyards wine at Morton’s The Steakhouse – Naperville on October 26th at 6:30 p.m. Morton’s and Duckhorn Vineyards, a Taste of Two Legends, will feature passed appetizers such as prosciutto wrapped figs and herbed goat cheese, then Maine lobster avocado salad; SRF Gold Manhattan Steak; and assorted farmstead cheese paired with various reds and whites. Oh my goodness, YUM!
Join the annual Fill the Bowls Sunday Brunch FUNdraiser at Gaslight Manor Banquets in Aurora on October 27th from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Taste Fox Valley's finest with soups and samplings from over 20 of the area's best restaurants. Morning mimosas, raffles, silent actions and live music from talented guest artists are all part of the fun!
The fall season also brings football and the Flagship on the Fox in St. Charles is the West Suburbs newer high-end places for entertainment and sports. Enjoy local beer and whiskey and the crisp fall weather on the patio or take a sway on their giant swing.
