FOSSIL FUEL BENEFIT CONCERT FOR HINSDALE HUMANE SOCIETY
BaseCamp Pub in Lisle is the site for an evening of music lovers and their dogs on the patio and great music to benefit homeless animals.
Fans of local band Fossil Fuel, can enjoy a special benefit concert by the band on Saturday, August 10 from 6-10pm at BaseCamp Pub located in Lisle at 5750 Lakeside. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at http://bit.ly/HHS-Tunes-4-Tails or at the door for $20. All funds benefit the homeless animals at The Tuthill Family Pet Rescue & Resource Center (PRRC) operated by Hinsdale Humane Society (HHS).
“We are so grateful to the band for reaching out to us to help our mission,” said Jacki Rossi, Director of Business Development, HHS. “They have big hearts for the animals and have done many concerts like this to benefit other organizations like ours. We know they’ll put on an incredible show for the audience.” Concert goers are welcome to bring their dogs to watch the concert on the patio at BaseCamp Pub.
The Pet Rescue & Resource Center is a nonprofit animal shelter providing innovative care and adoption services for all animals, including those that are harder to place. We educate, advocate and adopt out pets, acting as a voice for animals who depend on people for their care. We nurture the human-animal bond through community outreach and progressive programming, to help ensure the compassionate treatment of all animals. Our goal is to prevent animal suffering and neglect throughout our community and beyond, and to ensure that all animals in shelters and homes are well cared for and treated with compassion.
