SUNRISE COMMUNITY YOGA • JULY 13 & AUGUST 17

This summer the Naperville Park District is hosting two free yoga events at Rotary Hill near the Millennium Carillon for anyone who would like to enjoy community yoga in an outdoor setting. Taught by Naperville Park District yoga instructor Jenny Wachter, the practices will accommodate all levels and abilities. The classes are from 8:00-9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13 and Saturday, August 17. Rotary Hill and the Millennium Carillon are located along the Riverwalk at 443 Aurora Ave.

“Offering free community yoga is an idea that we had as staff at Fort Hill Fitness,” explained Kim Monti, group exercise coordinator at Fort Hill Activity Center. “Yoga is a practice that can be shared with anyone who is interested. Hosting a free class outdoors is one way that we can give back to the community, and take advantage of our warm weather season and beautiful parks.”

Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a yoga mat or towel and pre-register at www.napervilleparks.org so that the instructor knows how many people to expect.
