CHICAGO AUTHOR SERIES Saturdays In February LISLE–All ages are invited to attend these free, thought-provoking discussions about Chicago’s regional history with local authors and those who write about it. Authors from around Chicagoland will address their books in a fun, informal fashion beginning at 1pm. Matthew Galik, author of The 1926 Orland Park Murder Mystery; Bryan J. Ogg will discuss his book Naperville: A Brief History; Kenneth Knack will present his book Images of America: River Grove; and David Sadowski on Building Chicago’s Subways. DUPAGE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, "LUCK O' THE IRISH" Saturday, March 16 NAPERVILLE–Celebrate Naperville's favorite holiday with Stanford's Irish Rhapsody No. 1 and Amy Beach's Gaelic Symphony, along with a performance by the DSO's 2019 Young Artists Auditions Winner. In addition to his six Irish Rhapsodies, Irish composer Charles Villiers Stanford wrote seven symphonies and a whole array of choral works for church performance.
