MEANT FOR ONE ANOTHER....
YORKVILLE–It was the music that brought them together. Katie Long sings in the choir at St. Patrick’s Church in Yorkville, and Tyler Tourt is their sound engineer. They knew each other for a little over two years, but it wasn’t until Tyler asked Katie to sing for a special church service for his family that they began to talk and spend more time together. Last fall, he asked her to marry him at their church meat raffle in front of 200 people!
Katie loves that their time together never goes without a laugh. “He always has a good story,” she says. In turn, Tyler admires Katie’s strong values as well as being, “a talented musician, a good cook and a great listener.” They spend a lot of their free time attending local live music events. Both are looking forward to August 2020 when they say, “I Do” and begin their next chapter.
