GET TO KNOW THE FOUNDERS OF HOME HELPERS HOME CARE
LAGRANGE/HINSDALE–Brian and Dominica feel proud of their happy, crazy, fun, loud, home having raised three adult sons in the heart of LaGrange! Dominica is a social worker in the Hinsdale school district and has supported students of Lyons Township High School through her leadership of the LT Football Pride Club. Brian is one of the founding members of The Legacy Guild providing college scholarships to area students who have lost a parent. The family as a whole has been active in St. Francis Xavier Church for years.
As owners of Home Helpers Home Care in Hinsdale, which provides in-home care for the elderly, Brian and Dominica are always striving to find balance in their family’s busy life to ensure good physical and mental health. Beyond lifting weights with a personal trainer a few times a week, making their own meals with fresh ingredients, and using many learned tricks from Brian’s Lifetime Membership with Weight Watchers since 2004, they have discovered the true secret to overall health and wellness.
“We know that getting involved and connecting with others in your community pays huge dividends – it links you to others, gives you a better sense of belonging and heals your soul,” Brian shares.
Dominica is on the committee for the Pillars Ball for Pillars Community Health, coached AYSO soccer, and was on the advisory board of District 102. Brian served as Chief of the Dakota Tribe for the YMCA Indian Guides, coached football in Westchester and Church League basketball at SFX. Their sons also volunteer with the SFX group’s week at Habitat for Humanity in Mississippi and have tutored at Cossitt Elementary.
They Davis family has taken their spirit of entrepreneurship and their passion for helping others and brought a much-needed service to the western suburbs through Home Helpers Home Care.
