FUN FOR ALL AGES! NAPERVILLE–This was only my second adventure that I did not bring my own kids. Based on the website, I got the impression that this place was for younger kids, so I recruited my little friends. Upon arrival, I immediately realized, my own kids would be mad at me! Funtopia is truly a funbelievable adventure of more than 50 fun climbing walls of various skills levels which had even me struggling on many! The technical wall can certainly test the most skilled climber as it mimics a professional indoor rock wall and the Ninja Course just left us all laughing as we proved to be not very ninjariffic! We all absolutely loved jumping for the trapeze and punching bag that can be moved to be either closer to you or have you taking a true leap of faith as you try and grab it from afar! The cool thing is – you are always safe due to the tethering system which hooks you in and out of the various apparatus. The group I went with ranged in age from 6 to 10 and each were able to independently manage the latch system after a few tries.

The high ropes course is so much fun as it offers various platforms, logs, swings, and other contraptions to assess your balancing skills. I was the lucky one of my little friends to move on to the over 60” high ropes course. They enjoyed watching me maneuver my way across, thru, over, and under each task. When I was done, we all totally enjoyed the Giant Slide! It pulled each of us upward to the top and when we were ready, we let go and slid back down.

Funtopia is highly recommended for the entire family – truly something for everyone ages 1 to 101.
