WESTERN SUBURBS – Dining out can be an experience, from flaming food to live entertainment. August brings dining ambience and adventures to the forefront with some of the most creative restaurants in town.
Esteban's in Naperville is conveniently located with a full service bar and 1,200 sq. ft. dance floor. The multi-cultural atmosphere, diverse clientele and the ambiance sets a tone like no other. The dining menu mixes two cultures, Mexican and Caribbean food, and each night offers a different type of dancing; swing on Wednesdays, Bachatathursday, Latin Fridays, and Salsa Saturdays.
If theater is more your thing, The MAC in Glen Ellyn has partnered with neighborhood restaurants in the Glen Ellyn area, such as Adelle’s, Houlihan’s, Glen Prairie Local Flavor, Parker’s, Reserve 22, Weber Grill Restaurant, and Nothing Bundt Cakes for your pre-show meals and post-show bites. All ticket orders to the MAC include coupons for these partners, and a few lucky patrons might win gift certificates to these community staples!
The Sushi House in Downers Grove, located near the Tivoli Theater, will also upgrade your date night to “sushi and a movie”! Their delightful sushi sets the stage for a fantastic evening and your dinner plate will reflect a work of art.
Taking a unique approach in the creation of seasonal menus using a true farm to table approach, Ivy Restaurant in Wheaton also offers the best of live entertainment, wine/food tastings, and have partnered with Escape For Fun in Wheaton, for dinner package opportunities.
