YOU'VE BEEN GLANCED AT THE INVITATION-ONLY DERBY THEMED GALA
The perfectly planned event was both a celebration of the Hotel Baker’s anniversary and a tribute to the original owner, Colonel Edward Baker. His love of horses inspired the theme. Glancer Magazine was a proud partner of this event, where each detail was just as one would dream it to be– exquisite decor, delectable food with a dessert bar like no other, and many more surprises including an unbelievable fireworks show just over the river.
Attendees were treated to a special musical performance by ABC’s most recent season American Idol contestant Trevor Holmes, in addition to The Champagne Kings, the Tom Linsk Band and pianist Johnny Burnett. Derby-inspired culinary creations from the culinary team, led by Executive Chef Kieth Willis was beyond impressive and was truly magnificent. A mini pop-up museum featuring both Hotel Baker and Colonel Baker history and memorabilia rounded out the evening. A memorable time was had by all.
