NEW VENUE – MORE OPPORTUNITIES!
DuPagePads second annual Career Fair will be held Monday, June 19, 2017 at the College of DuPage (COD) Student Resource Center, 425 Fawell Boulevard in Glen Ellyn from 10:00am-2:00pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with representatives from 35 local employers from a variety of fields including healthcare, manufacturing, security, tech support and more.
The agency’s Career Employment Solutions program, and its network of over 100 employer partners, are integral to assisting participants obtain economic sustainability.
“Last year’s Career Fair was so well received by employers, that we outgrew our space. Through this new partnership with COD, we are able to more than double our number of employer partners, ultimately introducing community members to even more highly respected, local employers,” says Carol Simler, DuPagePads President & CEO.
The registered employers that will be present include: Advocate Health Care, Best In-Home Service Inc, Chartwells, CINTAS, College of DuPage, Conduent, DRF Trusted Property Solutions, DuPage County Human Resources, FedEx, G4S Security, Georgia-Pacific, Grove Dental Associates, Hyatt Lodge, Jane Addams Resource Corp (JARC), JD Norman Industries, Jobs Corps, Lexington Health, Little Friends, Inc, Mariano’s - Kroger Co, MiraMed Revenue Group, Monarch Landing, NICOR, O’Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center, Oxford Bank, Pace Bus, RSA Medical, Sears Appliance and Hardware, Sodexo, Speedway LLC, State Farm, SWD, The Home Depot RDC, UPS, Walmart Supercenter and workNet DuPage.

Any community member looking for a new career is welcome. Admission and parking are free. Attendees are recommended to dress to impress and bring along copies of their updated resume.
