March 2017 – PAINTLESS PAINTBALL Mom’s Little Black Book first came to Westmont Yard exactly 6 years ago in March 2011. My girls were only 9 and 10 years old. We came with a group of friends and spent our 5 hour day playing soccer on the large sports fields, moved to the playroom, bounced out to lunch, returned to the ginormous play structure, went back to the sports fields, and ended back in the playroom. The kids were worn out and the moms were pleased with an active day that didn’t break the bank.

Six years later, all the same things are still there and the extensive open play arena is still available for the younger tykes. As my kids have grown into teenagers, I was excited to learn about their brand new ReBall field which offers open play every Friday night for beginners through advanced players, so long as you are at least 10 years old.

It was certainly THE place to be on a Friday night as hordes of people showed up to play. My girls were most definitely in the minority of the predominantly male crowd that ranged in age from 10 year olds to 40 year old men. There were tweens, teens, twenty somethings, thirty somethings, and then somethings that were formed into equal teams and sent into combat to secure the flag and capture the win.

The indoor soccer arena was converted into a field filled with inflatable bunkers, wedges, arches, and cylinders providing great hiding places to protect yourselves from the paint-less paintballs

that are targeted at you from the opposing team members. You quickly befriend your new teammates in an effort to eliminate the competition and dominate the field.

The best part of ReBall is there is zero mess! What mom wouldn’t love this no-mess game that leaves the kids worn out and ready for bed on a Friday night!
