THE WILLIAMS FAMILY, NAPERVILLE As a Naperville resident since 1976, it wasn’t difficult for Larry to convince his new wife, Molly to relocate from the south suburbs to a community he loved for its downtown charm, schools, and vibrant restaurants. The pair began building their family and immersing themselves into everything good their hometown offered.

Raising three daughters, Grace (16), Anne (14), and Clare (11), it was easy to find a way to connect to the local PTA groups, churches, and sporting events; as well as, teach their girls how to also give back to a town they loved so much.

As parishioners of St. Margaret Mary, Larry and Molly have held various volunteer roles. Molly also donates her time at Kingsley Elementary School to support dental care, and since February is dental health month, Molly takes every opportunity to educate kids and grown-ups about the importance of preventive dental care. Just recently, Molly has also started to support Players for Pits, a non-profit charity that rescues Pitbulls and helps rebuild the tarnished reputation of the breed.

From mom to dad, charitable giving runs through the family, as Larry is best known in town for founding the annual Naperville wiffleball tournament, a philanthropic event supporting pancreatic cancer. Larry also gives of himself as Treasurer for a non-profit organization known as TechServe Alliance. What makes this family even more fabulous is that the apples didn’t fall far from the tree. “We donate every year for the giving tree at SMMP by adopting a family for the holidays and getting everything on their Christmas list of needs,” Larry says.

“The older girls also go on a mission trip to Harlan, KY to build houses for Appalachian families.” Grace, who is a junior in High School, continues her stewardship as the founder of an organization called L.I.F.E., serving as a big sister to freshman at Naperville Central. #FabFam
