The 16th Annual Hoof It for Hephzibah 5K Run/Walk and Kids Races on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 8am in Newton Park, Glen Ellyn, IL. Hoof It for Hephzibah is a Memorial Day tradition you won’t want to miss. You can include the whole family, help children who really need your support, get some morning exercise, and have fun.
The Western Auxiliary Board’s 16th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Races provide a unique opportunity for the whole family to have fun while helping other children and families. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 8:00 am, with onsite registration beginning at 7:00 am. Kids Races start at 9:00 am and the event concludes at 10:00 am. About Hephzibah Children's Association
The Hephzibah Children's Association is a private non-profit agency that has been helping children thrive and families flourish since 1897. Originally founded to provide residential care for orphaned children, Hephzibah's present programming includes group homes for neglected and abused children, comprehensive services for children and families in crisis, foster care, adoption and day care. About the Glen Ellyn Connection
The Glen Ellyn Western Auxiliary Board has been active in the community since 2002. Each year, the Western Auxiliary organizes and hosts two fundraising events: Rock 'n Roll For Your Heart & Soul and HOOF IT for Hephzibah 5K Run/Walk and Kids Races. The Western Auxiliary also coordinates special events for the children in the group home.
About the Event
This is the 16th Annual HOOF IT for Hephzibah 5K Run/Walk and Kids Races hosted by the Glen Ellyn Western Auxiliary Board. The event is fun for the entire family! All proceeds benefit the Hephzibah Children's Association, an organization dedicated to providing safety and care to our community's most vulnerable children.
The Course
The 5K Run/Walk winds through beautiful Glen Ellyn neighborhoods beginning and ending at Newton Park.
