Why is it always so much fun to play with someone else’s toys, dress up clothes, gaming systems, or paints? You might have the exact Wii or Xbox game at your own home but find your child wildly entertained playing it elsewhere. You might have bins full of dress up clothes including all the best glitz and glam but when the same treasure is found in a friend’s box, it’s so much more exciting! We all have gallons of paint, piles of construction paper, and boxes of crayons, yet crafts are so much more creative outside of our homes. Let your imagination go wild at Safari Snips in southwest Naperville with plenty of activities to meet any interest of most ages.
With a paint zone, stuffing area, spa room, and open play area boasting glamorous dress up clothes, karaoke for the rock n roll in every one of us, and gaming systems including all the popular games for Wii, Xbox Kinect, and Play Station 3, kids can be here for hours. The paint zone has many ceramic pieces to choose from starting at $6.95 and the variety will expand as the holidays approach making for personalized gifts. Although appointments are recommended for the spa room they do take walk-ins. In the spa room, kids can try one service starting at $6.95 such as a pedicure or combine multiple services creating a spa experience.
As you all know, I love my group discounts, so be sure to ask for details if bringing a group of friends. My own girls love the world of imagination so their personal favorite part was the open play area which features a stage with a runway, karaoke machines, and a great mix of dress up clothes for creating any persona. The room is comfortable for parents to kick back and enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids walk the runway or play the gaming systems. Open Play is $8.95/kid for two hours (multi-kid discounts available). Don’t forget to stop and stuff your favorite animal as an added bonus to this adventure. With a wide selection of unique animals to choose from and a giant gumball style machine filled with stuffing, the kids enjoyed this interactive experience. Animal stuffing starts at $7.95. Annual memberships cards are also available that include open play time and discounts on all services and products offered, including parties. A year of fun!
