WORKING HARD TO KEEP HER FAMILY BUSINESS THRIVING

NAPERVILLE/AURORA–Celidan Florist is a family-owned floral business that has been invested in the local Naperville community for over 25 years. Jenny began working with her mom from day one, even laying the tile floor at their first location. Jenny helped while in college, earned her Elementary Education degree, got married, had three kids, immersed herself in PTA, Scouts, Waubonsie Valley High School Show Choir, and Marching Band; however, still always managed to work at the shop each week, now taking over after her mother passed away recently.

“My mom and I spent almost every day together. Even if I wasn't at the flower shop, we would walk the dogs or talk every day,” Jenny says. “She taught me how to be a good mom, be a good person and be a good businesswoman.”

Jenny works hard to please others and make use of every hour of every day, living by the words of Travis Tritt's song "It's a Great Day to be Alive". She views all strangers as friends that she hasn’t met yet, and values getting to know her customers personally, and supporting charitable organizations in the community.
